How I Can Help You
Robin Lillico
I have been a registered psychologist for over 41 years and also have a graduate diploma in education. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and provide a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental environment in which to explore presenting difficulties. I will support you to develop meaning and understanding of your difficulties and work with you to provide you with the skills to move forward.
I have experience as a psychologist in many different settings including schools, my private practice, Adult Migrant Education Service and was the Psychologist in Charge of the West Coast Primary Behaviour Centre for 14 years.
I am experienced in working with individuals who have significant anxiety, depression, stress, phobias, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I also have extensive experience in assessing and helping adults with ADHD.
I use a range of counselling methods, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Mindfulness Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and more. I am very wholistic and client centred in my therapeutic approach, strongly focussing on every individual’s unique life experiences, their personality, and their needs and desires when formulating treatment approaches.
I provide a safe and supportive therapy environment, in which people can explore their presenting issues. I aim to empower clients to work through past or presenting difficulties, and aim to give them the insight, skills and behaviours that will help them to move forward in their life. All sessions are confidential, respectful and non-judgmental.
